Helping a Client Avoid a Bad Feng Shui House

Posted By Lidong Yu / Comments 0.

Based on my experience as a Feng Shui consultant, I have created five steps in which to determine Feng Shui of a building.  One of the five steps is to check if there is a balanced Yin-Yang Qi field in a building.  The balanced Yin-Yang Qi field is good for its inhabitants because it has a positive impact on our lives, and an unbalanced Yin-Yang Qi field is harmful for its inhabitants.

We can measure a building’s Qi field by using a Feng Shui compass, called Luo Pan.  The Yin-Yang Qi field of a building is mainly determined by its orientation and the year it was built.   We should always avoid moving into a house that has an unbalanced Yin-Yang Qi field unless the Feng Shui consultant can make some proper Feng Shui adjustments.  Even then it is still not a good idea to purchase this type of house.

Recently a client wanted me to look over a house’s Feng Shui.  When I checked this house online, the house looked good from some Feng Shui’s points of view, and it also had a good location.  However, when I came to the house and used my Luo Pan to measure the nature of the Yin-Yang Qi field of the house, I discovered that it had quite a few problems.

One serious problem is that there was a negative Qi field that is called “Fu Yin” (伏吟) in the house.  “Fu Yin” is a Feng Shui term, and it means that the Yin-Yang Qi field has lost its balance.  This negative Qi is the result of the house’s Qi conflicting with the Qi of the Earth, and the result of this conflict creates an unbalanced Yin-Yang Qi field.  It is harmful to its inhabitants.  I then proceeded to call my client to tell her not buy this house.

Many people wanted me to help them examine their houses online, but I always try to explain to them that I need to come to the site of a house in order to apply a Luo Pan to measure the house’s Yin-Yang Qi field.  The case above is a perfect example of why it is very important to apply a Luo Pan in determining the Yin-Yang Qi field of a house.  Remember, a balanced Yin-Yang Qi field brings inhabitants fortune, and an unbalanced Yin-Yang Qi field brings inhabitants misfortune.
